At a glance
Odyscab offers a long-distance pet taxi for journeys with your dog, cat or small pet across France and to neighbouring countries. Your pet can travel with you, or unaccompanied once arrangements are confirmed, in a suitable vehicle with breaks planned around their needs. As a guide, Paris to Lille costs €360 including VAT for a pet travelling alone, or €450 in Comfort. Your route and vehicle requirements determine the final quote.
TAKING THE TIME TO TRAVEL WELL
Further afield, still together.
A holiday together, a house move, an adoption or an appointment with a specialist vet far from home: every departure has its own story. Odyscab arranges long-distance pet transport in a suitable vehicle, including onward journeys after a flight. Your companion may not have chosen the destination, but they deserve a comfortable journey too.
Travelling hundreds of kilometres with a pet takes more than a pick-up address and a destination. Their space on board, familiar routines, luggage and stops all need thought. Our long-distance pet taxi service helps you arrange these details before departure, with someone who understands your request.
Your journey is private, with no shared transport: the vehicle is reserved for you and does not pick up other customers along the way. We plan the route around your destination and agreed breaks. The only fellow passenger likely to snore might be your dog.
From Paris and Île-de-France to another French city or a neighbouring country, we can assess your route. For a departure from another region, send us your addresses: pick-up is considered on request. A direct journey, intermediate stops or a fixed arrival time can all be discussed when preparing your quote.

A change of scenery, without leaving your companion behind.
A JOURNEY AT YOUR PACE
The road is part of the journey.
Comfortable long-distance dog transport starts with a suitable set-up and thoughtful planning. We discuss breaks, water and any intermediate stops according to the journey length and your pet’s usual routine.
Your private driver helps you plan these arrangements. Bring your pet’s lead, harness, bowl and a familiar item. For an older animal or one sensitive to travel, ask your vet for advice before departure.
The same care in planning, with arrangements suited to each companion.
01
Long-distance dog transport
Whether your dog is small or large, tell us their breed, weight and behaviour in the car. Depending on their needs, travel can be arranged with a suitable crate or a harness and appropriate restraint. The crate dimensions must also allow room for your other luggage.
For several dogs, let us know whether they can travel together or need separate spaces. Breaks are taken on a lead in a suitable location.
02
Long-distance cat transport
A calm journey begins with a closed, stable carrier that suits your cat. Familiar bedding and an absorbent liner can help them settle in. Tell us about their habits and any known difficulties during travel.
Looking for a long-distance cat taxi for a move or a holiday? Plan the carrier, useful belongings and handling instructions with us. For a rabbit or another small pet, please also describe their particular needs.
TWO WAYS TO TRAVEL
By your side. Or in our driver’s care.
You travel with your pet
We select a vehicle with room for your companion, passengers, carriers and luggage. This private long-distance pet transfer is suitable for holidays, house moves and onward journeys after a flight.
Your pet travels alone
Unaccompanied pet transport is considered individually. We agree on the departure and arrival contacts, the travel set-up and handover instructions. Whether we can provide the journey is confirmed before booking.

Room for your pet. And everything coming with you.
Comfort
For travelling with your pet and luggage, depending on their size and the required set-up. We assess the Comfort category against the total space needed on board.

For more passengers, several animals or bulky crates. A Mercedes V-Class van may be offered subject to availability and confirmation of the space required.
An XXL crate and several large suitcases take up space: please provide exact dimensions. Your vehicle is confirmed with your quote.

YOUR QUESTIONS BEFORE DEPARTURE
Let’s talk about your journey.
Can I travel with my dog or cat?+
Yes. Tell us the number of accompanying passengers, luggage and crate dimensions when you enquire. Together, we select a vehicle category that suits everyone travelling.
Can my pet travel alone on a long-distance journey?+
You can request transport for an unaccompanied animal. Feasibility is confirmed individually according to the pet, route and pick-up arrangements. We agree in advance who will be present at departure and arrival.
Is a pet carrier compulsory?+
Tell us how your pet usually travels. For a dog, a suitable harness and restraint may be considered. For a cat, please arrange a closed, properly secured carrier. If you are continuing by air, provide the exact dimensions of the crate intended for your flight.
Can we arrange breaks along the way?+
Yes. Breaks are planned around the journey length and your companion’s needs, allowing dogs to stretch their legs and drink. Cats remain in their carriers during stops unless secure alternative arrangements have been agreed with their owner.
Are the displayed fares a final quote?+
No. They are indicative prices including VAT from our fare schedule. Your quote confirms the requested route, vehicle, included services and any specific charges. Please provide exact addresses, direction of travel, luggage, animals and requested stops.
Do you offer transfers from CDG or Orly to another city?+
Yes. You can request an airport pick-up to continue to your destination in France. Send us your flight number, terminal information, crate dimensions and luggage details. Collection from a cargo area requires specific arrangements.
Can we travel to Belgium, Switzerland or the United Kingdom?+
These routes are quoted individually. For Brussels, Geneva or London, we check the itinerary and travel arrangements before confirmation. The documents required for your pet and border-crossing requirements must be checked for your departure date.
How do I get a price for my journey?+
Send your pick-up and drop-off addresses, preferred date, number of passengers, pets and their sizes, crate dimensions and full luggage details. Include any timing constraints or intermediate stops so we can prepare a suitable proposal.
Can I book a return journey with my pet?+
Yes. Provide the addresses, dates and preferred times for both journeys. We plan each stage with you; waiting at the destination or returning on another day will be specified in your quote.
Can I request a specific arrival time?+
Tell us when you need to arrive, particularly for a flight, train or veterinary appointment. We plan departure around the route, breaks and a margin for unforeseen delays. Your companion can take their time settling in; the planning happens beforehand.
