PET TRANSPORT, THE ODYSCAB WAY

Their surroundings change.
You remain
their familiar face.

A vet appointment, a holiday departure or a trip to the park: your pet taxi plans the journey around your companion’s needs. Odyscab arranges pet transport in Paris, across Île-de-France and on long-distance routes agreed with you.

A large dog, a cat in a carrier, a rabbit in its travel enclosure or a family with several pets: each needs the right amount of space. Your route, fellow travellers, luggage and equipment help us choose a suitable vehicle. We agree the meeting point and travel arrangements when you book.

Would you like to book a chauffeured car to travel with your pet? Discover our pet-friendly private hire service, for passengers travelling with their dog or cat in a saloon or van.

THREE WORLDS · THE SAME CARE

Every pet has a personality.
Every pet has a place.

Choosing a pet taxi starts with your companion’s species, size and habits. Tell us about them when you make your enquiry so we can plan their journey.

A JOURNEY FOR EVERY DOG

Dog taxi

From a small companion to a Labrador or German Shepherd, dog transport depends on their size, travel arrangements and the number of passengers. Tell us their approximate weight and how they usually behave in the car. Our dog taxi service takes you and your dog to the vet, the station or your holiday destination.

Your dog taxi can be arranged with or without a crate, as agreed when you book. Have their lead ready and tell us what restraint system you have. An older dog or one with limited mobility may need special arrangements, which we will check before confirming.

Plan their journey

02

BRING THEIR FAMILIAR COMFORTS

Cat taxi

For a cat taxi journey, a familiar, securely closed carrier makes settling in easier and helps prevent escape when moving between places. Choose a carrier suited to your cat’s size and add an absorbent liner.

A vet appointment, a train connection or a holiday departure: your cat taxi is planned around your luggage and your cat’s belongings. If you are travelling with several cats, tell us the number and dimensions of their carriers. Their temperament also matters when preparing the journey.

SMALL COMPANIONS, REAL NEEDS

Small pet taxi

Rabbit, guinea pig, ferret or bird: tell us the exact species and the needs of your small or exotic pet. Small pet transport requires a closed, ventilated enclosure suited to the animal.

Share its dimensions and the precautions you normally take. Particular requirements are reviewed before booking. Together, we can prepare a journey to a clinic, your new address or a place to stay with your small companion.

COMFORT STARTS WITH PLANNING

With or without a carrier.
With the right
arrangements.

Pet transport means more than simply opening the door. Your animal, the people travelling with them and everyone’s belongings need to fit comfortably in a suitable vehicle.

Tell us about your equipment when you enquire: a crate, carrier, harness or other restraint. We will agree the arrangements together. “Without a carrier” means making suitable provision in the vehicle, with your companion properly secured.

Choose a suitable vehicle ↓
01

An IATA travel crate?

From S to XXXL, the most useful information is its exact external dimensions: length, width and height. Tell us whether it will remain assembled, how many crates you have and how much luggage. The vehicle is confirmed based on all these details.

02

Do you need a crate?

Ask about the possibility of providing one when booking. The model, size, availability and terms must be confirmed before travel.

03

Flying afterwards?

Acceptance of your crate for the road transfer does not mean it is approved for the flight. Check your airline’s requirements for your animal, its carrier and its documents.

AIRPORTS · TRAVELLERS · PET CARRIERS

Your pet taxi
to the airports.

A holiday departure, a move abroad or a reunion after a long flight: your airport pet taxi connects your address with Paris–CDG Airport, Orly, Le Bourget or Beauvais. The road transfer is planned for the whole family, including passengers, suitcases and your companion’s crate.

When booking, provide the flight number, date, terminal if known and how your animal is travelling. Arrivals in the cabin, hold or cargo area need different arrangements. For a cargo collection, give us the exact building address and the instructions you have received: your meeting point may be separate from the passenger terminal.

For large dog transport, the exact external dimensions of the IATA crate are essential. Tell us whether it needs to stay assembled during the transfer, how many large suitcases you have and who is travelling. These details allow us to confirm a suitable vehicle before departure day.

Your animal can travel by car with or without its crate, according to the arrangements agreed with Odyscab. Your airline’s requirements must be checked separately for the flight. Allow time for formalities and collecting your animal before meeting the chauffeur.

PARIS STATIONS · HOME · HOTEL

Station pet taxi.
The journey continues.

Your station transfer with a dog, cat or small pet is planned using your train number, date and a phone number we can reach. Your rail operator’s rules apply on board the train.

STATION → ADDRESS

A welcome after your train

Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est, Saint-Lazare or Austerlitz: meet your chauffeur at the agreed point, then travel home or to your hotel with your pet. Tell us about your luggage and carrier so we can allow enough space.

MONTPARNASSE

An unhurried departure

To reach Montparnasse with a dog or cat, plan the journey from your full pick-up address. Allow time for traffic, drop-off and getting to the platform, especially with several suitcases or a large crate.

STATION ⇄ AIRPORT

A planned connection

Your pet taxi can connect a train station with Orly or CDG. Share the details of both journeys: road travel time must be added to the time needed for formalities, luggage collection and your companion’s needs.

VET · CONSULTATIONS · FOLLOW-UP CARE

A pet taxi
for the vet.

A consultation, a check-up or several follow-up appointments: your vet taxi takes you and your animal to the clinic you specify. In Paris and across Île-de-France, this service helps you arrange travel when your own vehicle is unavailable or unsuitable.

Give us the clinic’s address, appointment time and your companion’s particular needs. A dog with difficulty walking, a cat sensitive to change or a bulky crate all need appropriate arrangements. Mention these details when you enquire so we can check what assistance and vehicle may be suitable.

For the return journey, tell us whether the time is already known. Consultations and tests can overrun, so agree the collection arrangements before departure. If several trips are needed over a period of time, send us your proposed schedule so we can look at the journeys together.

In an emergency, contact a veterinary clinic first for advice and to check that it can see your animal, then ask us about transport availability. The chauffeur provides transport; treatment and medical advice are the veterinary team’s responsibility.

Do you have an appointment at CHV FrĂ©gis in Gentilly, CHUVA in Maisons-Alfort or MICEN VET in CrĂ©teil? Send us the clinic’s access instructions. We plan your vet transfer around your confirmed appointment.

LONG DISTANCE · FRANCE · NEW HORIZONS

Pet taxi
for long-distance travel.

Moving home, holidaying far from Paris or travelling to another region after landing: long-distance pet transport is planned around your destination and the needs of the journey. Odyscab considers routes across France from Paris and Île-de-France, as well as other itineraries on request.

For long-distance dog transport, tell us your dog’s size, how familiar they are with car travel and how they normally travel. For a cat or small pet, describe the carrier and any information that will help them settle in. The number of people travelling, luggage and your animal’s belongings complete the picture.

On a longer route, let us also discuss breaks, water and any stops along the way. The itinerary is agreed in advance to suit the journey time and your companion. Bring their familiar belongings and ask your vet for advice if their health calls for particular precautions.

For travel beyond France, the route, applicable formalities and any ferry or shuttle crossing requirements must be checked before confirmation. Your quote specifies the agreed route, bringing the passengers, their pet and their luggage into one travel plan.

01 GROOMING

A taxi to the groomer

Does your dog or cat have an appointment at their usual salon? Arrange transport to the groomer from home, as a one-way trip or a return booking with two separate journeys. Tell us the address, drop-off time and the expected length of the appointment.

Agree a collection time with the groomer and share their contact details. We can then plan your pet taxi around the appointment, with the carrier and belongings your companion needs.

03 WALK TIME

Meet your dog walker

Is your dog walker meeting you at a specific location? Odyscab can arrange transport to the meeting point and back to the agreed address afterwards. This makes it easier to reach an individual or group walk organised by your usual professional.

Provide your dog walker’s name, phone number, exact address and planned times. If you cannot accompany your dog, ask us to review a transfer with handover to the professional, subject to arrangements confirmed before booking.

04 THEIR STAY

Travel to boarding

Before a stay at boarding kennels, a cattery or pet day care, send us the address, check-in time and your companion’s luggage details. Transport can be arranged both to and from the boarding facility.

Check the arrival arrangements with the facility and prepare the items they request. The number of animals, carriers and accompanying passengers helps us choose a suitable vehicle for the journey.

Plan their boarding arrival

Unable to come along? Transport for an unaccompanied animal must be assessed on request. Specify their needs and the contacts at both ends so we can check whether the journey is possible before booking.

PARIS · ÎLE-DE-FRANCE · AND BEYOND

Pet taxi in Paris.

Your questions
about pet taxis

Useful information for your companion, fellow travellers and luggage.

How do I book a pet taxi?

Tell us the date, addresses, time, your animal’s species and size, accompanying passengers and luggage. Include any carrier dimensions and train or flight details. We use this information to confirm the vehicle and fare.

Can I travel in the vehicle with my pet?

Yes, the service is arranged for you to travel together. Tell us the total number of passengers, including children, and your luggage. The vehicle configuration is confirmed based on the space needed for everyone and your companion.

Does a dog taxi or cat taxi require a carrier?

A dog can travel with or without a crate, depending on the arrangements agreed when booking. For a cat, a securely closed carrier suited to their size is preferable. Describe their habits and your equipment. Any airline or rail requirements are separate from the road transfer arrangements.

Can my large IATA crate stay assembled?

Send us its exact external dimensions, even if you know its size number. Include any other crates, passengers and suitcases. We will check the configuration required and whether the crate can stay assembled before confirming.

How do I arrange transport for several animals or small pets?

We assess these requests based on species, sizes and carriers. Tell us the number of dogs, cats or small pets and each animal’s needs so we can plan suitable arrangements and the vehicle required.

Can I book a pet taxi in Paris and the suburbs?

Yes, journeys cover Paris and Île-de-France. Give us the full addresses, including when a boarding facility or clinic is in another town. Departures further afield and long-distance trips are considered on request.

How do I book a pet taxi at CDG or Orly?

Provide the flight number, date, terminal and how your animal is travelling. For a cargo collection, add the building address. The meeting point is agreed according to your arrival and permitted access. You can also explore our Roissy private transfers and Orly private transfers.

What if my train or flight is delayed?

Let Odyscab know as soon as you receive an update. We will review pick-up arrangements with you based on the revised schedule and your booking. Check the waiting and amendment terms when preparing the transfer.

Can a pet taxi take me to the vet?

Yes, tell us the clinic, time and your animal’s needs. In an emergency, contact the veterinary practice first, then ask about our availability. The service provides transport; it does not replace veterinary care.

Can we plan breaks on a long-distance journey?

For long-distance pet transport, we plan your preferred breaks with you according to the route and your companion. Tell us their habits and the stops needed when you enquire so we can agree a suitable itinerary before confirming the journey.

Can I book for a groomer, dog park or dog walker?

Yes, tell us the location, time and preferred return. For a groomer or dog walker, include their contact details. For a dog park, specify the entrance. If your animal will travel alone, handover and collection arrangements are assessed before confirmation.

Can my pet travel without an accompanying person?

Send an enquiry with the route, your animal’s needs and the contacts at pick-up and drop-off. This type of transport is assessed individually and must be confirmed before booking.

How much does a pet taxi cost?

The pet transport fare is confirmed according to the route, vehicle and needs you describe. Include carrier dimensions, luggage, stops and any return journey to receive a quote covering your whole request.
