Odyscab provides a long-distance chauffeur service between cities in France and to neighbouring countries, with a vehicle reserved exclusively for you, collection at your chosen address and breaks planned around the journey. Travel by saloon or van for business, a holiday or a visit to loved ones, with your fare specified before confirmation and a vehicle selected to suit your passengers and luggage.
FROM YOUR DOOR TO YOUR DESTINATION
Door to door. A journey at your pace.
A meeting in Lille, a week in Nantes, an arrival in Lyon or a family home in Normandy: a long journey often begins with a simple question. How can you get there comfortably, with everything you need? Our long-distance chauffeur service lets you plan around your address, schedule and destination. With a private driver for long distances, you can enjoy the journey without taking the wheel. This city-to-city car service connects your pick-up address with your place of stay, without changing transport.
You book a chauffeur-driven vehicle for your own journey. No other customers are collected along the way. Whether you are travelling to a hotel, home, business or holiday property, private city-to-city transport saves you from changing trains or vehicles with your suitcases. Your driver takes care of the road while you read, talk, rest or simply enjoy the scenery. For once, the person asking ‘Are we there yet?’ will not have to hold the steering wheel.
This service complements Odyscab’s private chauffeur services. The approach stays the same: smart presentation, thoughtful organisation and a vehicle chosen for your journey, from everyday comfort to premium travel.
The miles go by. You enjoy the journey.
A meeting to prepare for, a view to admire or simply a moment to unwind: leave the driving to your chauffeur.
YOUR NEXT DESTINATION

YOUR JOURNEY

A CITY, A REGION, A CHANGE OF SCENE
France, just a car door away.
You can depart from Paris, ÃŽle-de-France or another region. Our long-distance transport service is planned using your exact addresses, with a route tailored to your journey.
01
Northern France and Normandy
Paris to Lille for a meeting, Rouen to visit loved ones, or Deauville and Honfleur for a few days by the sea. Your chauffeur drops you at the agreed address, so there is no onward transport to arrange. Your long-distance private driver takes you door to door, whether you leave from the capital or another city.
02
Western France and the Atlantic coast
Nantes, Rennes, Saint-Malo, Angers, Tours, La Rochelle or Bordeaux: your journey can end in a city centre, at a holiday home or in a town less directly served by rail.
03
Eastern, central and southern France
Reims, Strasbourg, Dijon, Lyon, Annecy, Toulouse, Marseille or Nice. For these sometimes lengthy journeys, we plan departure times, breaks and the practical details before confirmation.
These destinations are examples. Pick-up, return arrangements, dates and vehicle availability are checked for each booking. Departures from other regions are considered according to the route.
A JOURNEY BEYOND THE BORDER
Brussels, Geneva, and a little further.
A long-distance private driver can also take you to Belgium, Switzerland or the United Kingdom. Brussels, Geneva, Lausanne and London are among the destinations offered, depending on your departure point and travel arrangements. Browse the example fares below and calculate your journey using your exact addresses.
For London, the crossing and its departure time must be planned as part of the journey. Check LeShuttle’s official Channel crossing information to help prepare your trip. For any international trip, check your travel documents and tell us about any unusual luggage. Crossing costs, requested stops and any constraints are specified in the proposal: an international itinerary is about more than a number of kilometres.
A one-way trip, a return a few days later or an intermediate stop: describe the full itinerary when requesting your quote. Waiting at your destination and arranging a second pick-up are different services.
A holiday departure, a visit to loved ones, a hotel stay or a family trip: door-to-door collection makes planning easier. If children are travelling, tell us their ages and any child-seat requirements before confirmation. Bulky items and additional luggage should also be mentioned.
AFTER YOUR FLIGHT OR TRAIN
Your arrival is not the end of the journey.
From the airport to your destination elsewhere in France
Arriving at Roissy-CDG, Orly, Le Bourget or Beauvais and continuing to another city? Your journey can be arranged from the terminal to your final address. Share your flight number, passenger count and luggage details so we can plan the pick-up.
Meeting arrangements are explained on our airport transfer page. The schedule and any waiting conditions are specified for your transfer.
From the station, without another connection
Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, Saint-Lazare, Gare de l’Est or Austerlitz: continue to your home, workplace or accommodation with a pre-booked chauffeur. The train brings you closer; the car completes the journey to the right address.
To arrange your meeting after leaving the train, explore our train station transfer service and provide your train number and scheduled arrival time.
FROM EVERYDAY COMFORT TO PREMIUM TRAVEL
The right vehicle. Room for everyone.
01
Comfort saloon
A Tesla Model 3 or Model Y, depending on the category offered and availability. An option for travelling alone, as a couple or with limited luggage, with particular attention to the space needed on a long journey.
02
Premium saloon
A Mercedes E-Class can be considered for a business trip or a journey where you prefer a more traditional executive car. The model and category are confirmed as part of your booking.
03
Chauffeur-driven van
The Mercedes V-Class is suited to family and group travel, with up to six passengers depending on the configuration. Actual capacity also depends on suitcases, pushchairs and other equipment.
Seat numbers alone do not determine the right vehicle: specify your large suitcases, cabin bags and bulky items. The models shown are subject to availability. Any charging stops needed for an electric vehicle must be included in the journey plan.
FARE EXAMPLES BEFORE YOU BOOK

Your fare, based on your addresses
For Lille, Bordeaux, Geneva, a ski resort or your next sunny escape, enter your exact addresses in the calculator. The distance used, date, vehicle and options determine the displayed fare. For the United Kingdom, crossing arrangements and costs must be confirmed before booking.
Train, hire car or chauffeur? The right answer depends on you.
A train can be faster on a direct mainline route and is often attractive for someone travelling alone with little luggage. A long-distance chauffeur makes particular sense when addresses are far from stations, several people are travelling together or luggage makes connections awkward. Compare the complete door-to-door journey, not just the time between two stations. A city-to-city car service is also convenient when train times do not fit your plans.
Compared with hiring a car, a chauffeur saves you from driving and returning the vehicle. The budget is different: it also covers the driving service and organisation of the journey. If you are looking for a long-distance taxi, we offer a pre-booked private hire service with a fare quoted for your request. When comparing a long-distance taxi with other long-distance transport options, look at the total price, the vehicle and the services included.

03
Travel at your pace

Please book at least twelve hours ahead where possible, and earlier for a long journey or a very early departure. Last-minute requests remain subject to availability.
ODYSCAB AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
Your booking confirmed. Your driver identified.
Plan your next journey with the Odyscab app. For every booking, you receive a text message and an email confirming your transfer.
When your chauffeur arrives at the pick-up point, a text message provides their name and the vehicle registration number: you know who is waiting and which car to look for.

Dog, cat or another pet: the space and travel equipment needed are planned around the animal, passengers and luggage.
Our long-distance pet taxi page explains travel with animals, carriers and specific requirements. The long-distance pet taxi service lets you prepare these details before departure. There is a place for everyone, even the passenger who has no say in the music.
BREAKS AND COMFORT
The journey is not a race against the clock.
A break to stretch your legs or a planned lunch stop can be discussed when arranging your journey. Detours and additional stops must be mentioned so that the schedule and fare can be adjusted accordingly.
BEFORE YOU SET OFF
Your questions. Our answers.
How do I book a long-distance chauffeur?
Enter your addresses, date and time in the calculator. Specify your passengers and luggage, then any special requirements. Check the route, fare and conditions before confirming your booking.
Is the fare charged per passenger?
No: the fare is for the journey in a vehicle reserved exclusively for you in the stated category. You do not multiply the displayed price by the number of travellers. Passengers and luggage must still fit within the vehicle’s capacity; a larger group or more luggage may require a different category.
Can I book a one-way or return journey?
Yes, explain the full itinerary when you enquire. A return on another date, waiting at the destination and hourly chauffeur hire are priced differently. A one-way fare does not automatically determine the cost of a return trip.
Can we take breaks during the journey?
Yes, breaks are planned around the length of the journey and your needs. Mention stops involving a detour or intermediate appointments before confirmation so they can be included in the arrangements and quote.
How much luggage can we bring?
This depends on the vehicle and passenger count. List large suitcases, cabin bags, smaller bags, pushchairs and bulky equipment separately. Capacity is checked before the category is agreed.
Can we travel from CDG or Orly to another city?
Yes, an airport pick-up can be arranged for travel to another destination in France. Share your flight details, passenger count and luggage; the meeting point and transfer conditions are specified for your booking.
Can we travel to Belgium, Switzerland or the United Kingdom?
These journeys are possible depending on dates, addresses and travel arrangements. Browse the example fares and use the calculator to prepare your booking. The crossing to the United Kingdom and any intermediate stops must be arranged before departure. Each traveller must have the necessary documents.
Can the chauffeur wait during my appointment?
Waiting time or hourly chauffeur hire can be considered. Specify the duration and full programme: this must be included in the proposal and cannot be assumed from the transfer fare alone.
Is a long-distance chauffeur always cheaper than the train?
No. It depends on the number of travellers, ticket prices, luggage and transport needed before and after the train. The main benefit of a chauffeur is a private journey between your chosen addresses.
What is the difference between a break and an additional stop?
A break along the route lets you stretch your legs, have a coffee or use the facilities. A stop at another address — to collect someone, have lunch in town or attend an appointment — can add distance and time. Mention these stops when booking so they can be included in the route and fare.
What should I check before confirming my transfer?
Check the pick-up and drop-off addresses, date, time, vehicle category, passengers, luggage and total price including VAT. Specify any child seats, intermediate stops and bulky equipment. For an airport or station departure, add your flight or train number. Review the payment and cancellation conditions before confirming.
How can I change or cancel my journey?
Before confirming, review your booking’s cancellation and amendment conditions, along with the payment terms. To change the date, time, addresses or passenger count afterwards, use the contact details on your confirmation. A change of route or vehicle may result in a revised fare.
